Caretaker? What about parents? The question is on the tip of his tongue when a little voice pipes up that if the guy has a caretaker, parents are either not in the picture, or else not welcome in the picture.

'Sub-dermal implants are pretty reliable, from what I know,' he says instead. 'They should last you.'
